Do you want to bring joy to people through performance?
AUDITION to become a SPOTLIGHT KIDS AMBASSADOR!
Spotlight Kids Company’s Ambassador Program features a select group of talented performers who rehearse 30-minute shows to bring joy to the community. Through outreach performances at schools, senior centers, and local events, these young ambassadors share the magic of theater while giving back. This program enhances their performance skills and fosters a spirit of service, making a lasting impact on every audience they reach.
This group is perfect for performers that are dedicated to their art, as we usually have several shows a month for the year-long duration. Rehearsals are held once a week. Students are permitted two rehearsal absences and one performance absence for each term (spring and fall). The two terms will run from January until May and then September to December. There will be a break for the summer months.
AUDITIONING STUDENTS SHOULD BE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 10 AND 18 on JUNE 1st, 2026.
The Ambassador Program is designed to represent and reflect the spirit of Spotlight Kids Company. Priority may be given to current SKC students when candidates are equally qualified, however we warmly encourage all performers to apply, as selections are based on commitment, readiness, and enthusiasm. We are always excited to welcome new performers into the SKC community.
REHEARSAL INFORMATION
Rehearsals will be held Fridays between 4:00pm and 7:00pm, and auditioning students should keep that time frame open each week throughout the year as this is a full year commitment. All rehearsals will be held at our theatre studio at the Madison Community House, 25 Cook Avenue in Madison.
PERFORMANCE INFORMATION
Performances are held at different times on different days, and performers will be given as much advance notice as possible. If shows are in Madison, transportation will not be provided. If shows are outside of Madison, we will plan a carpool to the performance. Most performances are open to family and friends. Please expect 5-6 performances a month. None of our performances for the 2026 season are out of the tri-state area.
PRICING
Families are responsible for the cost of costumes and shoes, but all other expenses are paid for through the Ambassador program. There is no "tuition fee" to be an Ambassador! There may be an occasional performance that requires a ticket to be paid for, but these are optional and advance notice will be given.

LYRICS: This will be an everlasting love This will be the one I've waited for This will be the first time anyone has loved me
I'm so glad you found me in time And I'm so glad that you rectified my mind This will be an everlasting love for me
Woah! Lovin' you is some kind of wonderful Because you showed me just how much you care You've given me the thrill of a lifetime And made me believe you've got more thrills to spare, oh!
*Please sing up the octave from the very low voice on the track. :)
LYRICS: Some day, when I'm awfully low, When the world is cold, I will feel a glow just thinking of you, And the way you look tonight.
Yes, you're lovely, with your smile so warm And your cheeks so soft, There is nothing for me but to love you, And the way you look tonight.
