REHEARSALS:

Rehearsals will be held at our studio in Madison, NJ, Wednesdays and Sundays between 6pm and 9pm. Not all cast members will be called to every rehearsal. Rehearsals will begin the week of March 15th.

If needed, callbacks will be held the week of March 8th at the convenience of cast members.

All performers will also be required to attend mandatory technical rehearsals the week leading up to the show. These times are subject to change.

Audition Deposit and Tuition Fee

*Please note that a non-refundable, $50 audition deposit will be collected prior to callbacks and the cast list being released. ALL STUDENTS WILL BE CAST IN THE PRODUCTION - WE HAVE A NO CUT PROGRAM. If you'd like to be considered for a speaking/singing role in the show, this deposit is collected to ensure your commitment to the production. This will then offset the cost of the tuition fee for the production.

Tuition for this production will be $400 following the $50 audition deposit. The total tuition for the production is $450 and includes scripts, show t-shirts, costumes, props, and other production expenses.

We will be having VIRTUAL auditions for our spring season, and we are so excited to see you shine!

Audition Materials

Auditioning for Sweeney Todd?

For Sweeney Todd auditions, please select a song from a musical written by Stephen Sondheim. Please ensure the audition cut is around one minute in length (~32 bars). Please also find an accompaniment track to sing with in your video audition. A cappella singing is not suggested.

Auditioning for Frozen JR?

For Frozen JR auditions, please select a song from a Disney musical or movie. Please ensure the audition cut is around one minute in length (~32 bars). Please also find an accompaniment track to sing with in your video audition. A cappella singing is not suggested.

Filming Your Audition

Film LANDSCAPE (horizontally).
Use two devices to film - one to play your backing karaoke track and one to film with.
Wear a formal outfit and look your best. Try to avoid crazy patterned clothes or looking disheveled. This may be our first impression of you!
Use a plain background with no distractions.
Introduce yourself with your full name, your age/grade, and what song you will be singing.
Film your song a few times and find the take you are happiest with! Don't worry... there will be bloopers.
Upload your final take to YouTube as an unlisted or public link - then take your link and paste it into the box in the audition form!

Finishing Touches

Once you have your perfect audition video uploaded to YouTube, it's time to submit your audition form! Fill out all of the details in the form below, including your conflicts for the summer. Don't forget to put your YouTube link (set to public or unlisted) in the correct box. Audition forms MUST be submitted by March 8th, 2026 at 11:59pm. Once you click submit, your audition process is finished! We will email you back to confirm that your audition was received and that your video works. If you don't receive an email within 48 hours, please reach out to [email protected] to confirm receipt.
Callbacks will be held (if needed) by invitation only the week of March 8th, 2026, depending on conflicts. Please don't forget to mention any conflicts for the week of March 8th if you have them.

audition link, and conflicts! You will receive a copy of the form AND a confirmation
of receipt from SKC within 48 hours.

*Please note that the $50 audition deposit should be paid upon submission,
and the $400 tuition fee will be due once casting is complete.*
