If you want to be a theatre STAR, this program is for you!
The Spotlight Kids Company is auditioning students entering grades 2-12 to be a part of their Ambassador program. Training in dance, group and solo singing, acting, and theatre tech
Professionally filmed performances for use in reels, on websites, etc
Small group numbers choreographed and staged for use in public performances
Individualized Attention from Directors, Choreographers, and Guest Teaching Artists

Ambassador rehearsals and performances will be held on Saturday and Sunday between noon and 8:00pm, depending on the week. Students will not be called each weekend for all of that time - schedules will change weekly depending on the opportunities given to us. Performances may occasionally happen on weekdays, but students will be properly notified and given the option to participate. This program will last one semester - we will re-audition students each fall and spring. This program will NOT conflict with other Spotlight Kids programs or local school programs.
Depending on the age group, students may be split up for different dance technique classes, audition prep workshops, masterclasses, and performances. We will be tailoring the material and classes to our students to guarantee individual instruction in areas of both strength and weakness. This is made for the student that wants to delve deepest into theatre in a nurturing and supportive environment.
We encourage students that want to expand their horizons in all things theatre to audition for this program. This is geared toward students that are extremely dedicated to their art and have the time to dedicate themselves to learning new material and performing often. We accept some conflicts, but due to the nature of the program, we are unable to accept many recurring conflicts.
Auditions will be accepted through September 1st, 2021. Students should submit a self-tape of any musical theatre song that shows their strengths - make sure you are expressive and creative in your choices. We want to see the best "YOU" - so show us! Submit your audition, along with other pertinent information, below. Please note that an audition does not secure you a spot in the program - there will be cuts in order to maintain the integrity and discipline of the program.
This program will cost $575 for the semester. Please indicate if you would like to find out more about financial aid by clicking the button in the form below. We do not want any student to turn away due to financial issues - so let us know and we will work with you!
